Logos & Marks

Primary lockup and standalone mark

Use the horizontal lockup wherever there is room — it carries the wordmark and is the default. Drop to the standalone mark only in tight or square placements: app icons, avatars, favicons, stamps.

Hydro Ground Solutions horizontal logo lockup

Primary Logo — Horizontal Lockup

Mark plus wordmark. The default for headers, signage, letterhead, vehicle wraps, and documents.

Hydro Ground Solutions standalone droplet mark

Standalone Mark

The droplet mark alone. For favicons, app icons, social avatars, embroidery, and small-scale stamps.

Which file do I need? Use SVG for web and anything that scales. Use EPS or PDF for professional print — signage, vehicle wraps, apparel, embroidery. Use PNG only when the tool will not take a vector; pick the size at or above your final output so it never upscales.

Production Vectors

Redrawn vector masters

Clean redraws for production work. Solid Lines variants convert fine strokes into filled shapes — the versions to hand a fabricator for CNC, laser cutting, vinyl, or embroidery, where hairlines fail.

Vector Logo

Redrawn primary lockup, stacked orientation.

Vector Logo — Horizontal

Redrawn horizontal lockup for wide placements.

Vector Logo — Solid Lines

Strokes expanded to filled paths. For CNC, laser, vinyl, and embroidery.

Vector Mark

Redrawn standalone droplet mark.

Vector Mark — Solid Lines

Mark with expanded strokes, for fabrication.

Color

Brand palette

Ground Green is the accent and action color. Deep Ink anchors dark surfaces. Hydro Navy carries body copy. The greys step down from there for secondary text.

Ground Green#2BB07F Buttons, accents, highlights. Always pair with Deep Ink text.
Wordmark Green#2E8868 The legible green. Use for green text and links on white.
Deep Ink#19293B Dark backgrounds, footers, headings, and text on green.
Hydro Navy#2D4662 Default body text color.
Droplet Navy#385874 Mid-tone surfaces and secondary UI.
Water Steel#4C637D Secondary and supporting text.
Water Mist#6E8197 Captions, meta text, and muted labels.
Paper#F2F8FB Off-white background for alternating sections.
The one rule people break: never put white text on Ground Green (#2BB07F) — it fails contrast. Text on green is always Deep Ink (#19293B). If you need green text, use Wordmark Green (#2E8868), not Ground Green.

Typography

Two typefaces

Both are free on Google Fonts. Headings set in Playfair Display; everything else in Inter.

Aa

Playfair Display

Headings and display type. Use 700 weight; italic for the accented phrase in a headline.

Aa

Inter

Body copy, UI, labels, and buttons. Weights 300–700.

Usage

Keeping it consistent

A short list that covers nearly every real-world misuse.

Do

  • Leave clear space around the logo equal to the height of the droplet mark.
  • Use the full-color logo on white, Paper, or photographic backgrounds with enough contrast.
  • Use vector (SVG/EPS/PDF) whenever the output allows it.
  • Scale proportionally — hold shift, always.
  • Use Solid Lines variants for cut, engraved, or stitched output.

Don't

  • Recolor the logo or apply gradients, shadows, outlines, or glows.
  • Stretch, squash, rotate, or skew it.
  • Put white text on Ground Green.
  • Place the logo on a busy background or a low-contrast color.
  • Rebuild the wordmark by typing it — always use the supplied files.
  • Crop the mark or separate it from the wordmark inside the lockup.

Motion

Video end cards

Animated logo end cards in ProRes 4444 — high bitrate with an alpha channel, so they composite cleanly over footage in Premiere, Resolve, or Final Cut. Pick fadeout when the card ends the video; the standard version when you are cutting straight to something else.
